Edify may be spawning another hot IPO!

There is a new internet bank planning to go public 3Qt98 and they're considering using Edify's Electronic Banking System.

The G&L Bank will be target marketing to the gay and lesbian primarily through internet and gay publication advertising. It is my understanding that there are additional hurdles which gay couples face when applying for mortgages and joint loans. G&L Bank will be offering full service banking, mortgages, consumer loans, and credit cards to the gay community.

Right now there is only one publicly traded pure internet bank in existence. Atlanta Internet Bank. They went public Aug 97 and have appreciated 50% since then. Check it out. (NTBK) This is the future of Banking. No bricks and mortar to weight them down. Just pure service with better rates and services such as electronic bill paying. They're offering interest checking and making a profit!

Edify needs to get a commanding lead in the internet banking industry to realize it's full potential. G&L Bank could be a very good showcase for their software. It has the potential for growing much faster and becoming much bigger than NTBK.

Please: No homophobic flames. I'm not gay, not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm discussing investment issues, not lifestyle or civil rights issues.
