Motorola said in their warning that GSM and CDMA subscriber handset sales were having "positive momentum"; analog handset sales declining. VLSI is a leading GSM handset chip supplier, will soon be selling their new CDMA chips, and of course makes nothing for analog.

According to NBR ERICY was up over 3 Friday on that outlook.
And we all know that whatever is good for Ericsson handset sales is good for their major GSM chip partner...
