That's true but helps only if you always have cash.
And cash only earns you 4%.

Homework is much overrated. Most of the opportunities you
mention come from sudden and unexpected events that homework
cannot predict. If homework tells us that the company expects
a flat quarter and then the company suddenly drops the
earnings estimate, how did it help? Homework can give you a false
sense of security.
