When A Plan Comes Together.

Hi Keith -

Yes, I do seem to recall you telling us about Kwok and Jong.

Actually, as I was outside, doing some yardwork (hey, it was 80F here in Florida today!) I was imagining how it would have been had Splitrock not gone with ATM, and Yurie access concentrators.

Can you just hear the naysayers? "If ATM's so good, why didn't Splitrock go with it? Heck, the principle owner also owns Yurie Systems, and he obviously didn't feel confident enough about ATM or Yurie to even specify his own products!!!"

I get nervous when a company also becomes a religion - like Apple. While caught up in the fervor, it's too easy to forget the original goal - creating value for your shareholders.

What I like best about and Kwok, (and by extension, Yurie Systems) is that he seems very pragmatic. I think he's in this for the same reason we are - to make money - hopefully lots of it.

Steve
