Lisa ,Donald,Patrick, Nemer or anyone who knows... I'm using a charting system that lets me use either sma or ema's on my moving averages and I noticed they have a big difference ,especially on high beta stocks. Is there a standard that is used? My real world observations have led me to think that exponential moving averages are more accurate but most of the free charting sites use the simple ma's. All opinions are welcome! Hope all of you are enjoying the weekend!
