Ah, Gypsy, we are both women who extract joy from dancing around the fire in our multiplicity of long skirts. We do have much fun there, and the only pleasure that I can think of which is better is snuggling in the musky chest fur of the men of high boots and welcoming laughter who watch us when we dance, and love our children, and dig the potatoes for us no matter how deep, and ride the wild horses of our desire.
Many enemies, Gypsy? Yes, I know, and the mirror ball revolves around the disco, and the music is cold and hot at the same time, and there is no love proffered there, only lust and exploitation.
My real name is Grainne, Gypsy, and you can call me that.
Did you see the movie, "Into the West", incidentally? |
