This is a great story. Much like "Reminisces of a Stock Operator". Another must read. The moral of the story, IMO, is that a short seller must always have the discipline to take a loss before it kills him/her. Never believe so strongly in a single position that you are prepared to risk your entire portfolio on it. Even if you are ultimately right, you may not have the margin to keep yourself in the game.
These last few weeks have reminded me of the importance of these trading rules.
