I agree short term that the DEC deal will cost, but CPQ is gaining chip manufacturing capability and the DEC ALPHA. With the DEC VAX experience I see a company that can cover the waterfront from laptops through serious servers and mid-size machines. What a power house they will be! The market looks ahead and the potential is incredible.
