GM, I imagine you are right, however sad as it is. DELL products are actually cheaper, as many have posted here, than the competition. In any event, DELL is not focused on the entry level, home buyer, light use computer user. They have always said their revenues come from business and government, primarily. Interestingly, I spoke w/ a woman who manages several medical pratices this week and she proudly told me she bought a new computer. When I asked her what kind, she said, "...well after researching all the various brands, I bought a DELL, it was by far the highest recommended computer." I don't think she cared about whether or not the local Comp USA had a CPQ for $599. Mary wanted quality, like most buyers, and she found it in DELL. Next week may be abit rocky, but watch DELL soar by Thursday. Watch and see....
