Tom,

On some penny stocks, I have been able to place orders at n/1000ths at NDBonline. I haven't used it to try to beat the spread, since the spread is frequently very thin, but I have used it to place large block orders (10k or more), at ask and filled. I haven't tried n/256ths yet, but I am seeing them take orders of all types if the bid or ask are there.

You can't do this on NYSE or AMEX of course since they have minimum increment rules, but I am seeing more and more online brokers work with tiny numbers on BBs. NDB is located at ndb.com

Stay in the Black! jimS
