How about some more info on this one? Never heard of it. Do you have a stock symbol for it.

FYI, in Stillwaters annual report, they DO say that they are the only producer of platinum in the U.S. To me that is a definitave statement that there are no others in the U.S. Maybe the Global Platinum mine is not actually located in the U.S. Or maybe they weren't producing platinum at the time the Stillwater annual report was printed.

I guess some statements must be taken with a grain of salt. For instance, Stillwaters statement that they are the only significant primary source of platinum outside of South Africa depends on your definition of significant. I'm not sure I would call the 5,000 ounces produced by North Anerican Palladium in fiscal '95 a "significan" amount, but if that company could increase it's production to Stillwaters' levels then I would.
