The Real Bill Gates Diary upside.com This is a satire, but I think all of us would agree, in private anyway, that it sounds a lot more like the Bill we all know and love than the earnest, gee golly version the editors of Slate have put together. All pretty funny, I'm tempted to give some long quotes just to get around my personal eschewal of expletives, but I recommend reading the whole thing. I leave you with the exciting conclusion. Going to Washington was cool and fun, too. Next time I go though, I'm going to have way more than two senators in my pocket. I'm going to work hard to make sure that a majority of them are beholden to Microsoft. Then we won't have to pretend we are nice and not monopolists. Ha! Sounds like the real Bill to me.
