<<David: Why do you say that? Re: dipsters? Do you think it will go sub 20 and further? (serious question). I bought and avged down ORCL on the dip, and did exceptionally well (even to date -- now at 26.5, $9 profit for me). So why do you say "This will be the time they shouldn't have."

Just curious (and serious).>>

Thursday PM I got a call from a Scott & Stringfellow broker I trade with, who has been very good in terms of quality information over the last two years (by the way, he has never pushed Novell, even two years ago when it was 4 stars on S&P). He was really pushing CPQ hard. I didn't buy any, but I am looking at it. I think CPQ's Friday warning REALLY surprised them, caught them flat-footed. If that happened to other houses as well, CPQ could get a worse slamming than is traditional for missing earnings. The weekend may help people think more rationally, but Monday will be interesting.
