Looking at the TIAA_CREF responses it seems that many academics are in the stock market. Doesn't that sound unusual? based on my experience, the academic folks tend to be conservative and risk-averse. Does it portend an imminent top now that academics have joined cab drivers asking for Instinet information? ;-)
