Yes, the speed is most disappointing. For the life of me, I don't understand how they could double the areal density and not increase the speed significantly (1880/1870 times increase is not real-world significant, it's not even statistically significant.) Maybe next time.

My only guess/hope is they are more concerned with reliability than speed. When the incredibly shoddy SparQs start flying back to their nest at SYQT, Jaz2 will look mighty good by comparison.

Now if they would only drop the price to a reasonable level.
