Hi Tero,
Looking at your name and they way you went about discribing MOT loss of GSM battle, I take it you live in Finland? right? gg
I agree with you, the GSM market was big, bigger than anyhting these bozo's could have had in Asia, and the lost it! The new managment and the new chairman who apart from being the grand son of the founder of the company, has no other qualities, lost their business in Europe where they could have had a monoply!! I live in Italy, here everyone from the fireman to high school kids have cellular phones, and at that GSM! Now, in early 1990's you would see only Mot cellular phones. Now, I hardly see one! There design is ugly and they are expensive, comparing to Ericsson and Nokia!
So, the concentrate in China, hoping to see two billion Chinese with cellular phone?
I had some dealing with Mot cellular division in Chicago! Met a few VP's. Never thought a great company like Mot can have such usless, complacent and lazy people! I had a project for them and they kept it in the drawers for six months! I WISH SOMEONE IN MOT WOULD VISIT THIS THREAD AND TELL US INVESTORS WHAT ARE THEY DOING APART FROM TRYING TO FIND EXCUSES FOR THERI QUARTERLY FAILEURS!
Kind regards,
