bob,
If I told you once,
I told you twice,
Not to take my advice
Cause I don't know,
This could be the last time
This could be the last time
I don't know
Rolling Stones

bob, think about it.
(If I told you once,) The market doesn't like to miss numbers.
(I told you twice,) There will be market impact Monday and beyond.
( Not to take my advice) I don't know what the market will do.
( Cause I don't know,) I am prepared to capitalize on possible lower prices.
(This could be the last time ) If EP gets BTO on the commercial channel,
(This could be the last time) If the DEC deal goes well, and market perception is more then a box maker.
(Cause I don't know,) This could be the last time we see prices this low.
(I don't know) if I'm just wishing this or if it is a vision of the future. The next few months could be the last time to load the train.
(This could be the last time) to back up the truck.

But another way of looking at it is to dump the truck for the short term, and look elsewhere for the next few months. Come back and catch us on the upturn. Make money elsewhere, so you have more money to invest in compaq when it starts moving. I like that theory, but after a couple of decades of working with it, I found I'm too dumb, so I gave up.

No one here is smart enough to time the market either or they would have sold everything in Late September of 1997. Having said that, I think INTC is OK for next week. I don't follow it as close. I consider it a"no brainer" long term investment. But the Song still applies to all my thoughts today.
