I am the "One Person" who started the "reverse split rumor." The company stated in its Q3 conference call that they were actively engaged with the Nasdaq regarding their listing and that by far the most likely course of action they would take would be a reverse split. This is not a rumor. What Steve Race and Gilman Louie say to the financial community is fact, not rumor. What I have reported to small investors is that the MPRS board of directors met on Friday February 27, 1998, to consider a reverse split of either 4 or 5 shares to one in order to keep the share price above 5 and avoid a delisting. This board usually does not meet to vote on something unless they already know they will vote unanimously for it. I can report no more and no less than what I have just said here.

My meeting with Race and Louie did in fact occur a few days before the vote on the reverse split. M-1 tank was supposed to Master on Friday March 6. I hope to see it in stores soon. Falcon, Ultimate Civ, and Mech Commander are to follow in the May-Aug period. MPRS is hopeful two of the three will be out in Fiscal Q1, but there are no assurances that the multiplayer elements will be finalized before the end of Q1, and the company is committed to only putting out excellent games. My feeling is that the reverse split and the exact timing of the games are important for the near term stock price, but one year from now they will be irrelevant to the stock price as long as the games come out fully polished before the company runs out of money. I believe MPRS will accomplish this, and anyone willing to stick around will see their shares appreciate far beyond the current stock price.

I have been posting on Aol and Yahoo for a long time. I cautioned in October that the GT deal was in trouble. I have been within 2 cents on earnings reports every time I have posted. I have a history that supports my posts. I have no vested interest in spreading bad news. I've owned SBYT and MPRS since 1995.

The decline in the stock price given the probability of the reverse split happening is predictable. Probably the institutions will hear of it from the company before any official announcement is given to small shareholders. I'm for sticking it out, and averaging down with any money I can afford to lose when I think it has hit bottom. Until I find that the games aren't coming out this year (and I don't expect that to happen) I will be long on this stock no matter how much pain is involved short term. My posts on Yahoo are meant to share with other individual investors all the information I have at my disposal.

One final note. Management had better consider a 10 to one split if they are going to do it at all, otherwise they run the risk of still have a post split stock below 5 in the near term.

Good luck to all...
