Bob,
I would not say something is a violation of sound doctrine that I had not studied but only went on my emotional response to it. Why does it say that the earthly Tabernacle was to be made like the one in Heaven in Hebrews 8:5. Would that not go against your opinion of Earthly things in Heaven.Does it make God small that the Tabernacle is in Heaven? I feel a disrespect for the Law of God when people emphasize the New Covenant and to me every word that proceeds from the mouth of God is wisdom and good for me. And in Timothy all scripture is God breathed and good for instruction. So if you choose to ignore the disappearing OT scriptures that is fine for you But as for me and my house we will Honor the Word of God and the fulfillment of the Law of God, Yeshua.I emphasize as you can see with Robert Barry that Yeshua is the only way to a personal relationship with God but will not ever disrespect the Word of God to prove a point or doctrine. Obviously I do not sacrifice animals but I do honor the sacrifice made for me by the Lord. Is that legalistic? The relationship we all have to the Law is on a personal level and when anyone tells us how to interpret it they are in the arena of Pharisees for that was part of their error.Nancy
