Yeah, tomorrow should be a nice day for techs all around. AH HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! NOT!!! Maybe once things shakeout BORL will pick up steam but announcements from Mr. Gates are nothing but trouble for Borland and also-rans in general. Personally, I would like to throw my PCs off the pier (if it's still standing, think it got taken out last week) and purchase completely self-contained Java development systems from Sun. Believe me, if the opportunity presents itself (in terms of a contract) that is precisely what I will do.
