Doug, I think DIIG is well positioned at this moment. However, I've got a feeling that they will be making another aquisition in the near future. You know the old saying "Trying To Keep Up With The Jones". I think DIIG probably is thinking about this saying as I write. I would like to see them hold off for a while especially in light of the situation at Orbit Semiconductor, one of their subsidiaries. I wish I could find out the real truth about what's really going on over there. I don't think Orbit has contributed that much to the bottom line yet, but it would surely be nice to get the management situation straightened out before DIIG does anything else. The announcement of Multek starting up a backplane assembly business is great news. I live in Tewksbury, MA about 7 miles north of Altron and about 10 miles south of Hadco. I know first hand, that is one of Altron's bread and butter products. When I use to work at Wang Labs we bought fully completed backplane assemblies, completely tested, and mounted in card cages from Altron. It's the only way to go for company's who need these large backplanes. To try and manufacturer these boards yourself, test them out, and then assemble them into a card cage is foolish. I know, we tried it at Wang and it never worked out. We were always late to market with our product because of this. I think the aquisition that will be forthcoming will be over in Europe somewhere. That part of the world is farming out a ton of products to ECM'S. I may be wrong, but thats my hunch.
