In this area I have been hearing 6 to 10 ads a day for the Jaz drive for about the last three weeks. Talk radio is on constantly at work so the programming has been Dr. Laura, Rush Limbaugh, Bruce Williams, etc. I recently had three non tech friends say they are going to get Jaz drives. I think the advertising will work. My concern is about other techs warning about low earnings this quarter. Intel's and probably Compaq's problem seems to be the sub $1000 computer. The "good" thing about the sub $1000 computers is that they usually have small hard drives, and removable storage is an easy way to solve the problem.
