There is, I'm quite sure, a point in everyone's life that vulnerability becomes a reality and you realize that you are no longer playing on the "front nine" of life.

It would be my assumption that Morton Downey has faced that reality, and will deal with it accordingly.

His battle with cancer is not new. The fact that already 100 stations have contracted to air his show is evidence of his continued appeal.

I also would not compare him to Jerry Springer, in fact, I would not compare anyone to Jerry Springer.

It is my opinion that his new show will have even more appeal than before, and that it will be far more classy than most people realize.

I wish Morton Downey and FAMH a long and prosperous association.
