Ralph,

I was just looking over your study of Long power picks and had the following questions:

1. Obviously you are not using the signal close prices for buying and selling. How are you choosing the prices?

2. Does your study include commissions and interest charges? If so what have you assumed for values?

3. It looks like you are trying to purchase stocks in blocks of 100 in the range of $8 - $10K. Is that a good assumption?

I have been working on a long system evaluation over the past week which started on the same day as you only by chance as that is all the IBD papers that I have access to. My returns for the period are very similar (i.e. less than market returns but slightly higher than yours and thus the questions above).

I would appreciate any help you can give me in.

thanks in advance,

Ed Middleton
