GET YOUR UTILITY INVOLVED - IT'S MORE SERIOUS THAN YOU REALIZE.
Sometimes I get SO frustrated because some people ONLY think about stocks ... and not about things that will affect them personally ... including their stocks. So many linear thinkers out there, with blinders on - who want a "quick fix".

The UTILITY problem is REALLY, REALLY bad. If utilities are down ... what happens to your stock transactions ... THINK ABOUT IT!!

TWO THINGS YOU SHOULD DO ...

Get my "Utility" report. Unfortunately ONLY Word97 format.
Email me: Quest@hypercon.com - Subject: "Utility Report"

THEN TELL YOUR UTILITY ABOUT THE FOLLOWING "PRIVATE" UTILITY DISCUSSION GROUP.

If you've been dealing with Y2K people at your local power company, or know people who have been, make them aware of the following information posted on the discussion forum at Rick Cowles' Utilities & Y2K site so they can pass it along to their contacts.

"Electric Industry "Players Only" Forum - Closed Discussion
At the request of several folks in the electric industry, Rick Cowles set up a separate password protected forum for electric industry reps who wish to exchange information in a more 'closed' environment. Access to the "Players Only" forum is limited to legitimate electric utility employees.

Industry reps wishing to utilize the "Players Only" forum should contact me via email at rcowles@waterw.com to request access to this discussion group, and I'll provide details at that time.

A CAUTIONARY NOTE: The "Players Only" forum was set up because Cowles recognized that there are some sensitive and proprietary issues that need to be discussed behind closed doors. However, it is NOT INTENDED that the "Players Only" forum be used for general discussions at the exclusion of the public. Use the "open" euy2k.com forum (the one you're reading now) for those discussions.
