albert, re:I am not sure if AMD is going to buy s3 but the alliance of some sort would be very beneficial to AMD because of the patens and such, imho. Yup, AMD should buy S3 because of those valuable patents that they acquired recently. Then AMD can sue Intel for violating those patents on the Merced....Jerry can maybe sue his way out of the hole he's got his company into <gggg> joey
