Riechers, agree with your view of CPQ management. With the assumption that you work in the IT industry,(pls excuse me if I'm wrong): if NT is the future of networking (as opposed to UNIX), and CPQ is already elaborating on this, what do you think is the benefit (to CPQ) of buying the UNIX centered DEC, even if it has a competent BUT UNIX centered sales, service, support. Retraining a large sales force in NT knowhow will cost big bucks. Clearly the Alpha chip is not the focus,and probably not Alta Vista. Can any non-Unix, non-NT IT comrade enlighten the thread? Thank you
