Worms 2 sales are enormous in my area. Ever since the internet demo came out Worms 2 has been selling like crazy here in British Columbia, Canada. At one of the local, computer stores they sold out of all 15 copies of Worms 2 in 4 days. Everyone I've talked to on the internet who plays the demo has told me the same thing..... that after playing the internet demo they are going to buy this game. They also stated that without the internet demo, they wouldn't have even considered purchasing Worms 2 despite the excellent magazine reviews. Just goes to show that an excellent demo of a game can do wonders for its sales potential. From my own experience, Worms 2 is the best game I've played for a long time. The shareware version is the best game I've downloaded since Quake and the full version is the best game I've played since Civilization II. I've showed friends of mine at my University this game and within a few minutes they decided that they were going to get the game. Try out the Worms 2 internet demo..... you'll quickly see it's an original, dynamic and very enjoyable game with some of the most advanced internet playabililty features and upgradability options ever seen in a game.
