Having been through this sort of exercise directly and vicariously many times, I can tell you that if your target prices materialized there would be significant exogenous events that would damage and perhaps destroy your will-to-buy.

Psychologically speaking, the prices that you are presenting are ex-post desireable prices, meaning that you wish you could have bought at these points. But think about this: at some point in the not-too-distant past, all these stocks actually were at these prices--and you didn't buy. So what's different now, other than an actualization of a state of the world in which these companies all subsequently went much higher?

Perhaps an oblique but more revealing question is: why isn't ORCL on this list? or SGI?
