An interesting bit of information on VVUS was passed on to me.

"You might be interested to know that VVUS has been the 9th best
overall stock to write covered calls on in the last 90 days per the
criteria of how often a stock has appeared and reappeared on our 10% or better data lists.ÿ

ÿÿ "VVUS has been the 14th best stock to write calls on 30 days out, and the 2nd best stock to write calls on 60 days out, and has been the 38th best stock to write calls on 90 days out."

ÿÿ "We list the top stocks overall that have hit any of our"30 days", "60 days", or "90 days" lists combined as well as breaking out the stocks for each one of these lists individually."

"With our list you can show a little bit of proof that you've been justified in speaking about the stock's virtues as a good stock to write calls on."

To repeat what I indicated last week. Using the Bollinger Bands Indicator and RSI indicate an oversold condition.

Doug's 2-Line Chart is showing a neutral box that needs to be confirmed. That may come today up or down. My guess is that the chart is very accurate as a timing tool.

CPQ announced a massive price cut on the computer maker's line and warns of possible flat earnings at best. Interesting! Doug's 2-Line Chart has been indicating a down trend for weeks. Somebody knew about the conditions at CPQ. CCing at or in the money would have been easy premies in the meantime. CPQ is a great company and will eventually turn back up. For now, up/down sideways is in the cards. You might as well rack up the premies CCing.

PS - CREAF is on that best CCing list as #20.
