Thread: A guy on CNBC has strongly suggested that LUCENT will be making a major acquisition "soon": he thought ASCEND was a prime candidate. Anyone want to give a serious analysis of BAY's chance of being Lucent's bride. The same guy thought that 3COMS strategy was to feed off CSCO left-overs and that CSCO had overwhelming dominance of the sector. In case Mang is lurking here, he also thought that it was too soon to jump into COMS, even though the Street is becoming more favourable. He thought that if it gets to 37 it might become a momentum play. Victor
