Hi all,

I'm perusing this thread for the very first time, with much interest.

As the founding Director of Engineering and having been heavily involved in building IVT's patent portfolio, I can say with certainty that not only CAN the technology be scaled up, it is designed to do so. It is the only such technology that is designed right from the start for large-scale networks, i.e. Internet, video-on-demand for cable TV or telcos, etc. The niche markets in which IVT is already involved is a solild base for today. But not only can this technology be scaled up but it WILL be scaled up. And that's when they will make their biggest splash of all.

DISCLAIMER: I was IVT's first engineer and have been heavily involved in this project from it's inception. I will gladly talk about IVT's history as long as appropriate. I will understandbly be cautious about any ongoing plans that I can't speak about. I am not an IVT employee, but I do retain some involvement, so I must be careful. But I do NOT speak for the company. Keep that in mind.

I'm thrilled to found this thread and can't wait to read on. Perhaps you all have already discussed it and I haven't read it yet, but one of the most fascinating aspects of this company are the people behind it. Richard Lang is a visionary. Richard, myself and a few others (I hesitate to name names, I don't know if they're publicity shy) have nutured this along for many years. The potential profit and acknowledgement is indeed exciting for us. And I hope this doesn't sound like P.R., but honestly, all of us that have worked to bring this technology along have strong feelings about what it can contribute to society. Think about what instant video COULD mean. The end of broadcasting as we know it. Instant information dissemenation from trouble spots all over the world (can you imagine if dissidents in China had this technology and just 10 seconds of a satellite feed before they were cut off); amazing new applications in education; downloading political spots by CHOICE to educate yourself on the candidates.

Sorry, I ramble on. But what I wanted to point is that this is an exciting technology, and the people behind it such as Richard and some others are some of the biggest visonaries in the world -- responsbile, enlightened and progressive. And Gary Familian carries on the tradition and is doing a fantastic job.

I guess I better continuing reading this thread! Fascinating to see what everyone has to say!

Hiya Craig, I see you're here too but haven't gotten to your postings yet.
