To All-re: thin clients.

I have been seeing the new IBM "thin clients", also known as the network computer start to appear at enduser sites, as well as some of the equivalents from Wyse, ALR and other vendors.

IBM predicts that NC's will replace 1/3 of all PCs in corporate environments. In educational sites, the ratio will be much higher.

Software vendors such as IBM, Netscape, MSFT, and Citrix have quite elegant software mechanisms for running mail, browsers, terminal emulation, and NT-based application software.

What is important for NOVL shareholders to understand is that a person with a NC at their desk doesn't require the services of a NOVL file server.
