Joke of course is that Dell's and CPQ's probs are due in part to boxmakers obvious position on wrong side of trend (as is Intel) to thin client / fat server. Sun is on right side. So what does mkt do, bid up boxmakers (and MSFT) and push down Sun. If ever there was an example of how the Wall Street crowd have minimal understanding and smarts - this is it. It also provides a classical buying opportunity for the likes of Sun, IBM, for fat server and hardware NCs and perhaps for Citrix which seems to be major thin client software supplier (although think Applix is a sleeper) All in my probably very flawed view. Disclaimers, etc. Chaz
