Is that really correct? I thought the S&P was suppose to grow at 8% (or something close) this year. It might be just a blip, but generally such a trend generally would forcast a recession. FWIW - I increased the duration of my bond holdings last week. I'm not sure if that was good or not - lots of contradictory indications these days.

Either way (rising interest rates or declining earnings), I don't see the market as being sustained at these levels for any real length of time.
