Mark, I'll believe the 56K modems when I see them actually working without a cable connection. I think this is all sound and fury right now, but I would avoid USRX, because folks believe the flim flam. I think your MU puts will be fine in Jan, but I said the same about oct. The company has fulfilled my wildest expectations by being a piece of crap, but the folks keep buying it anyway. Kurlak has been pounding the table, and, for the first time, making false statements (as opposed to opinions, which, by definition, can be wrong but not false). I laughed when he said Asian DRAM capacity was a "rumor." I saw 8 of those "rumored" fabs in Taiwan. Between now and July, they are going to flood the world with DRAM supply. Singapore has been more sticking their toes in the water. And everyone is increasing yields tremendously, especially in 64 Mbit chips. The costs are diving in the 64s and they will soon be the preferred chip, IMHO. I still like the puts on the networkers, but I think it is hard to spend money on them when doomed companies like the chippies are going way up. MU, CRUS, S3, etc. all look really pricey and their fundamentals suck for a long time into the future. MB
