probably a combination of profit takers, short sellers, and management. when management sells stock it is not always a good indication of which way a stock is heading. maybe the person needs a new car, is buying a house, wants to repay bank debt etc etc.
sometimes the company will sell shares from treasury to finance the every day costs of running an office. as an example, david lowry, one of the main guys in cryp sold a whack of stock at 9 dollars on its way up to 40. i'm sure this made a lot of shareholders very unhappy, but i know the stock price 3 months later eased their minds. just sit back and wait for it to find a level, it could be in the fourties, but if you think the story is legit then don't let the day to day activities sway your opinion. also, remember that the volume is not an accurate reflection of what is really going on on the canadian dealer network. some trades get reprinted 2-3 times. this is not a large volume selloff so there is no need to panick.
