Thanks for the candid response. I have been reading this thread long enough to know that you are consistent and straight with people. I would not have asked if I thought you would dodge the question. But even with your own experience telling you that long term has worked better, you still choose to day trade. Please don't take this the wrong way. I am not trying to get your goat. And I realize that you may not get into a dell every few years, but the chances are good that you may.

I would also ask any other traders to give their two cents. Why day trade if you'll make more with long term investing.

PS I am not a disgruntled day trader. I have not been burned by the urge to churn. But I do find watching the stock market a heady and fun experience.
