Jean just to make you understand what (what and not whom) you are dealing with - Paul is hoping that you would recover your lost $$$ with a better investment than amd while holding amd stocks. He is also discussing with poor Humble Carl the end of year intel price of above $140/share. Paul, recommended that Humble Carl would continue to buy Intel stocks on margin when intel was above $100. Paul was selling intel at that time. How (or what) would you call now? :-))
