You scan with your Quote service, then do you take the product of that or those scan(s) and run them through SC?

Almost. Since QP does most of what I need, I just flip through the scan results to narrow the list to the dozen or so I'll watch at the next day's open. I only bought SuperCharts because I had no idea that QP was so flexible.

Also, it seems that having the entire market on your hard drive means that if you hear of some stock during the day, you can scan it then through SC or your Quote software without clogging up the internet for another Dial Data run.

Exactly. I was very surprised that QP wasn't more assertive in promoting this feature, but they seem to use their data service as the primary product. Sure, QP doesn't include all the canned indicators, but we all have our favorites than can generally be built from scratch without too much trouble. One more little advantage over Dial Data is the 800-number BBS. I don't have to reconfigure my comms software every time I leave the neighborhood.

Hope this helps!
