RB, I think the extension is good news,( but not as good as the VERY BIG small molecule news discussed on the thread this weekend). Taking the press repot which Tony kindly posted at face value, I see as good the following: 1- DR is making sure LGND does not take any risks. Sounds like he wants FDA approval (assuming it is IL-2). 2- Since LGND has lots of news coming out and is likely to trade up over time, there will be less LGND stock going to LLY, regardless of which option LGND ultimately picks. Both of these points reflect favorably on the interests of LGND longs, IMO. Regards, wtd
