I think it is due to the general drop in world oil prices to-day. The Emergency OPEC meeting wasn't held and the UN is looking into allowing Iraq to double it's exports. Dunnery Best, one of Midland Walwyn's analysts says that in adjusted terms, the price of oil is approaching or at the lowest levels since 1973 (or was it 1974). Her says that the price will soon have to rise because nobody is making any money!
