EC, I would be interested in the specifics of the problems that you are having with your DELL computing systems> Are the problems hardware or software oriented? Under what circumstances do the problems occur? Are the problems 'reproducable'? Are the problems in the systems linked to a common device, like a disk drive, which may have been in a 'run' of which you got several, causing all of this trouble? What kind of trouble did you run into at DELL when you tried to get the systems fixed? Did you 'ecsalate' your problems to the next level to try for resolution? I am sure that your kind of trouble is the kind that DELL really wants to correct! If you have failed to make your problems know to the 'TOP' management, you are in some part responsible! I have always been a fan of MSFT, but after spending 8 hours on the phone with a Microsoft (not Contractor) software expert, was advised that the only thing he could recommend was a 'total reload'! The software is not only large, but complex. I currently have several programs that don't like each other very much, and will 'lock' up the system! I could condemn the hardware, but I believe it to be a software problem! I am sorry that you have had trouble with any of your systems! Regards, Ken
