Tom, Siemens laid off the entire CDMA handset development staff in Richardson, TX. They had been working on two CDMA phones and had plans for a third one. According to my sources, they were way behind schedule on the development and decided that since the 3G phones were CDMA-based, that they needed to bring the development back to the fatherland.... Don't want the hometown guys working on dead-end GSM while the foreigners (Americans) are getting the good stuff (CDMA)! Siemens, as they said in the article, will probably stick their name on some 3rd party CDMA phone. Richard
