Hi Chaz,
We continue to try to achieve a balance between not leaving customers short and not being over inventoried - as anyone involved with the Toy industry will tell you, this is fairly difficult with a normal line but manageable - this may explain why Tiger's pegs are full as they don't have a "Bass Fishin'"; with a runaway success it catches everyone out because the orders from the buyers are never large enough, so the company then has to decide how much risk it will take in holding inventory. The leadtimes for chips are anywhere from 2 to 3 months depending on supplier and type of chip, so that plus the month shipping time means once a customer has realised that they do not have enough on order, they have a four month wait before a new order allows them to increase the amounts they originally ordered. This soon gets complex when you add into it various buyers theories and the amounts of cash they have available to them etc.

I appreciate all the concern and comments and by all means keep them coming, but I think this issue has now been covered many times and we've got a business to run (I hope you'll agree that so far our numbers show we're not doing too bad a job) !

Best regards,

David
