i know that Kodak has been in talks with SGI trying to sell them their Cineon mp film scanning/recording and compositing hardware and software. hopefully mr Belluzzo ain't that stupid. but then the talks started back when... i just dread the thought of walking into NAB and hearing that that one's come true. SGI has a much brighter future than Kodak, IMO. so Alexis, are you warming up to the merced stuff? vincent
