NOVL is not dirt cheap, it is just dirt! I live in Provo Utah, a small college town that happens to be the home of Novell. Being a college community, a lot of my friends that are students work at Novell or deal with Novell regularly. From these friends I have heard many comments about the situation of Novell. To make a long story short, the morale at Novell is very poor. The environment is not productive at this time and there is very little company loyalty. Novell has some very serious problems. The current price may seem cheap since it is near it's 52 week low. CAUTION! This price reflects many individuals euphoric hope that Novell will be the subject of a takeover bid. Maybe this will eventually be the case but I don't believe it will happen as soon as these individuals are hoping, and when people start to realize how serious the problems are at Novell, I sure wouldn't want to be the one holding Novell's $12 stock.
