As a long time lurker, who finally put up the $ to join (paid more than I would have many months ago) i appreciate all you ol timers. I recall McNabb pounding the table for 60 last fall and now we are on the verge of his prediction, hehehe. I feel sorta like I know you guys and your tour to the DELL facility last year sounded like fun. Unfortunately I live in Seattle so I won't be visiting TX any time soon, but I have traveled there before on business and the folks were wonderful. You guys are write on regarding DELL, their simply too strong and noone will touch them on a price basis due the the BTO model. I do shudder when I think about how much those poor bears have lost, whoa! Oh, yeah, almost forgot, McNabb is "net long". Out here in hi tech land DELL products are everywhere, I wonder why. The care of the shareholders is outstanding. The CFO's comments today about the net selling to 50% individuals speaks volumes, just like DELL sells computers. 90% to business, education, and government and 50% net sales to other sources. What a company! Bring on the price competition and watch them all rot on the vine. later |
