all - I am a diehard bull on BAY, compare to the rest of my tech holdings... but I ve to admit, based on recent technical behaviour, something smells funny! I mean, I ve my respect - distasteful that it may be - for the specialists on NYSE. They know what they are doing, and if they choose not to support BAY, they ve their reasons. Two things worth checking, if any of you ve the contacts: 1) if someone is purposefully shorting BAY and 2) which of the big houses are selling on behalf of their clients. Volatility tends to suggest the battle of the bulls and the bears. So far, the bears won. If DLJ is the big sellers, I can see the reasons, for it is bearish on BAY; but if other big houses join in - especially those who ve BUY or above ratings on BAY, they may very well be hedging for their clients.
