I think all previous posts about SUN are right on target, but I would also like to throw in the legal aspects. We have Sun suing MSFT, MSFT couter-suing SUN, and MSFT coming out with its own JAVA. My gut feeling (which isn't feeling too good right now) is that the MM and the analysts have pretty much conceded in their minds the MSFT is going to win this in the end. They have the power, the size, and the lack of ethics to force their will on the end users, and poor, hapless SUN will just end up being another carcass rotting in the sun.( No pun intended.) JMO
